Metal Discs included for sublimation or adhesive vinyl
Please Note.... Metal Alloys can tarnish and change colour over time and depending on where they are kept or if they get wet . Don't worry, this is normal. There are a number of ways you can clean your metal decoration. Soap and water would be my first choice for mild tarnishing. If this doesn't work, then try another method. Brasso or Silvo wadding is good. More natural methods include vinegar, baking soda and toothpaste. You can find any of these methods on Google.
You may already know how to sublimate onto metal but if you don't this is one way. Times & Temps may vary according to your heatpress.
Remember to remove the clear film before printing!!
Print your designs with a 2mm bleed so you get no white edges on the finished key.
Lay your sublimation paper with the design facing up and place your discs over the designs and secure with heat resistant tape.
Set your heat press for 190 degrees
Place your sublimation paper & discs onto the heatpress and cover with blow out paper. The discs should be on top of the paper still. This is fine as metal is a good conductor of heat.
Press for 60 seconds. BEWARE!! The metal will be VERY HOT!
Remove discs from the paper and using the double sided adhesive tabs provided, stick to your key.
